Start with a high middle number in your fertilizer (phospherous) in the spring then move to a high first number (nitrogen)
as the lawn greens up near the end of May.
How do I repair damage caused by pet urine?
Use garden lime soon after your pet has urinated and flush with water to neutralize it.
If damage is apparent, rake up the dead grass, sprinkle with garden lime and water the area. Then reseed the area.
Cut out the area and resod.
